Ok I didn't know where to put this question, ok i have a complete donor car its a 98 manual cav . I have a 2001 cav auto and i was going to swap everything into it from the 98 . My thing is can the trans just mount up on it? or do i have to cut the mounts of the 98 and weld them on the 2001? And i want to keep digital speedo from the 2001 So do i go to the junkyard and find a ecu from 01 with manual trans ? I know there has to be a sticky on this .. Thanks if anyone can help me on this..

Flash your PCM from gm with an 5spd program, change the cluster from auto to 5spd get one from a wrecker
but i wouldn't put the 98 trans in your car 00+ trans are better
