I'm looking to buy my seconde cavalier. My current one is a 1997 z22 cavalier with 135000 miles on it and its being written off due to hail from a storm in aug of this past month. Any ways I need someone to help me on buying my next cavalier I seen this one for sale and heres the link to the car. Should I buy this car with the high miles on it take a chance or keep looking for another car??? any imput would be great. Also I've been told on the phone the person selling this car that its highway miles and not abused. I've seen the car in more photo details and its like brand new inside and out. By the way I love the website and I will for sure be looking forward to being a proud member of this car club CAVALIERS ROCK!

I forgot I'm in Canada and its 202000 Km's I meant to say is that alot for this car?
I would say keep looking, I got a 99 z24 4months ago for $2600 CAD with only 160 XXX km on it. The guy who sold it to me was a mechanic and everything worked GREAT (ac, power windows, moonroof, cruise, heat etc.). Also the car came with a powertrain warranty and was safety and e-tested. So keep looking there are better deals out there.
ps: the warranty experied sept 3, and on sept 10 the bottom end started making noises you never want to hear from your car. I took it in to a dealership, and the engine needs to be rebuilt or swapped so in the end I guess I picked a bad car. BUT I highly doubt the previous owner any idea this would happen because the car was running perfectly fine, so what I paid for the car is irrelevant to the repairs needed. (I'm pretty sure the car was damaged by my mooching older brother driving like a moron probably racing, missing gears, and threw a rod, bastard)
I can only drive automatic man thanks for helping me man I would like to learn how to drive 5 speed but I wrecked a clucth on my moms sunfire costed me like 600$ so automatic is my way
That is WAY too high dude. Im not sure what the market in winnipeg is like, but here in Ontario you come accross much better deals than that. I just picked up my 99Z, fully loaded, 188,000km for $550. All it needed for safety was a wheel bearing...
