So last night on the way home from the bar the car slowly craps out almost like the alternator was dying. I get it towed to my friends house. we charged the battery and try to crank it. It just vrrrrrr's no cranking.

the crank wont move by hand but the flywheel is turning....

My friend things the crank is siezed or broken... I don't think so tho aren't these cranks like super strong?

He also things the flywheel could be loose and not turing the crank at all...

why the hell would this happen all of a sudden? Any ideas? Its a 2004 ecotec supercharged.
