Hi all. I'm looking for some performance upgrades for my car. I no I can upgrade with air intake and muffler. What else can I upgrade. Also I've seen on one other site were people were claming the 2200 in a toyota engine. And I can get parts from TRD. Is this true. Ty

Not all that sure yet just looking to see what's available first. Also might look into finding a z24 and swap it then go from there. From the sites that I've found partas on the 2.4 had more options for proformance tghen the 2200 ty

Theres a ton of aftermarket for the 2200 and you might as well just find a z swapping the 2.4 into a 2200 car is swapping everything and i mean everything

I was wondering about the swap part. So you are talking about tranny mounts ecu mabe even wiring. Yah I guess that can get kinda spendy. Well. I guess ill eather keep what I have and upgrade the 2200 I've got only has 118,200 miles on it. I've not had to much luck finding other cavaliers with that kinda millage last one I looked at 97 cavalier had 388,000 miles. So back to the question. I've found lots of. Parts for body kits suspension kits brake kits door kits clutch kits fly wheels plugs wires exsaust and air intakes but nothing really in the way od like pistons rings valves ca.s ect. Is there a link that I'm missing. If so does any one have a good link I might try. Last one I looked at was horsepower freaks.com they had lots of what I mentioned.

No not maybe with the wiring, its a for sure thing not to mention changing the tranny mounts, pcm, abs module, and as for your question about the 2200 internals i got mine from importperformanceparts.net they have alot of mods for the 2200 check it out but if you are looking for a good swap from the 2200 the 3400 swap is easier then swapping to a 2.4

Hi all, I've been doing some reseach on performance parts on 3 different sites so far. I noticed all three sites had prices that were way off from each other. Is it true that cheaper does not always mean its neasery a good thing. Ie u get what you pay for. Ty

Ok no problem. I've got a intermentet problem with my oil light. Sometimes it comes on and stays on tell I shut off engine and other sometimes it can for for weeks before it comes on and stays on. I just did a oil change a month ago. So I no that's not the problem. Oil level is fine. Could there be a sencor that is giving me issues. Also when the light comes on and stays on all I have to do is turn off engine wait for a minuite turn back on car and all is good......ty
