Good hp gain, around 60-85 horse from what they claimed depending on mods.Yeah, I remember that. I also remember forgetting to bid on one on ebay years ago that only ended at around $400, and it was in almost mint condition. Kicked myself for a while for missing that!

Thats the biggest obstacle.I wouldn't try to mount an M62 on the intake side of a 2.2 OHV. I'd mount it up front and plumb it through a WAIC, then to the intake manifold. It would require lots of fab, but so would trying to mount it on the backside, and you would have a better system.

no the biggest obstacle is you not knowing how the vortech supercharger setup goes.
ryan matonis wrote:actually buddy...this is kinda my research..askin people who may have experience doin this type a thing.
dont bash on questions.. even if you might know its a simple one
ryan matonis wrote:just cause im asking a forum dont mean im being lazy.
and im not askin anyone to do research for me..
i just thought that someone somewhere might have tried somethin like this and figured it was worth while. or not...
its just another means or research.. so how about not goin on a forum and just bein a dick about a simple yes no question.
ryan matonis wrote:well then sorry for the inconvenience
and its not an obvious answer...it can be done...
i was just wondering it it would be worth it.

No. However, if someone wanted to build an OHV engine, using a supercharger, it could be done. As I stated earlier, if I were to do it, I would do it with a WAIC setup. It could be done on a pre-98, as you would have to fab the manifold anyway, so the difference in intakes would be irrelevant at that point.
