I have search for days now I have a 2000 sunfire 2.2ohv thats burning oil and i have a 99 sunfire gt 2.4L with a rotten body both are 4speed automatics.
I know i have to swap the engine,trany, wiring and ecm.
What i want to know is if i can attach the data wire to get the ic working or will i have to change everything. Same idea as the 3400 swap
I forgot to mension I was told that there was a chang in electronics in the car and that the IC is out on the 99 sunfire gt
sell the 2.4, and do an eco swap on your 2000. If your gonna have to mess with rewiring you might as well swap to a better engine with way more aftermarket
