Saw this in a 95-99 z at a local yard today. I've never seen a factory 2 tone, top was the normal charcoal, lower is a light grey. Had charcoal headliner and light grey carpet. The seats and door inserts were light grey with charcoal specks.

My 95 z had was like just about like that. It is definately not the norm interior but I wouldnt say super rare I have seen some others in the junkyard too.

yeah i actually have that in my 97
wish i could get proof..i worked at a chevy dealer back in 05 and we got one fully loaded and i just happen to notice it.
power seats on an 05?!!?!?! that i would definitely need proof to believe.
although.. maybe they put that option on the rare ones with the side curtain air bags placed in the seats too?

^^^ yep your correct. thats exactly how it came...we only had one like that come to the dealer .
To the OP: I've seen that on a few 95's and 96's... not too common, but not rare like some of the interior options. If you're ever back there, look at the spare tire cover (or grab the VIN number) and get the RPO code for the interior (should be a two-digit number followed by "I", eg 52I or 12I) then we can look up how many there were made.
As far as power seats go.. that must have been an aftermarket kit. No J-car came with power seats from the factory. There isn't even wiring in the factory harness to power that. I've seen leather seats too, but they also didn't come from the factory. Heck, I've seen leather seats with Z24 embroidered into the headrests, with side airbags in them. Again, not factory.
In fact, there isn't even an RPO code for anything other than the two seat options. Of all the 132,168 Cavalier coupes built for the 05 model year, every single one of them had the AR9 seat option (SEAT, FRONT BUCKET, DRIVER, PASSENGER, MANUAL RECLINING). And 71,139 of them also had the AF5 option (ADJUSTER, SEAT, EASY ENTRY, PASSENGER).
Go on.. ask me how many had the optional seat-mounted airbag system

my 96 had with that interior, and i also had the leather seats with the side airbags that came from a sedan had no idea how uncommon the side air bag was.
yeah im sure they werent oem but damn close. they were graphite leather same stitch patternt as the stocker seats with the side air bag, along with the matching 60/40 rear split seat i had to install the new hinge bracket for. They were out of a newer sedan 03+.

No. My 04 LS Sport Rally Edition has the side airbags but not power seats. The only 2 options my car didnt have are chrome wheels and a sun roof.
