Got my new higher flowing pump installed and now the car has a hard time starting sometimes. Fuel pressure is good.

you probably have to let it prime first
on a 3rd gen why did you go blazer when racetronix pump is basicly a drop in replacement now and has the ventrui nipple

Probably the way I'll end up going. I have a feeling I'm gonna have trouble with fueling while i'm getting blown.

I wasnt aware there was another aftermarket pump. Where do you get it at?

you did use the MPFI pump and not the TBI pump right?

Since you have to use the one for the LS1, I'd be pretty sure that it's not TBI.

You can use the Wbody one, it fits right in, no modification needed to the canister... and its cheaper!
Really? I'll make note of that.
If it was only as easy to take out as it is in the W-body.

can be done they have quicl connect fittings on the sender tho you will have to make your own lines or make the GP ones fit but the sender may fit if you have a plastic tank definatly worth the shot to try it
i have the LS1 racetronix pump cause thats all they had when i bought it

Actually I meant how the Grand Prix has an access door in the trunk that allows you to get at the top side of the tank for fuel pump replacement without taking the whole tank off.

Ya they are lucky..... you could do similar with the J's, but how the lines are setup, you will have very little room to move the canister around, it is well worth the time of dropping the tank and disconnecting everything.
some modification we can do that too but need there sender as the W body sender the lines are removeable from it unlik ethe j body sender

What do you guys have against the blazer pump? I have one in mine and i think it is awesome. It basically just dropped in and i dont know why i keep reading it dosent pump fuel below half a tank i have a quarter in mine right now. And it holds 65 psi in every gear with 10 psi on a eco.
Remember... One test is worth a thousand expert opinions.
Nothing against it... I just went with a pump that can flow more that's all, for the price I couldn't say no.
blazer pump direct drop in just the pump or whole unit?
Just the pump.
