hey i recently swapped a 1998 pontiac sunfire 2200 sfi into a 1997 chevy cavalier yesterday i did the passlock procedure the car started and ran for awhile so today i went to my car the and the battery was dead i charged it now it will start and dye before idle i redid the passlock it still isnt runnin please help im out of tyme and currently out of ideas i also did a tune up and fuel filter change

I work at a garage, we replaced the cluster in sunfire once and had to do the relearn three or four times before it stuck. It was odd, but it wouldn't hurt to try again.

hey i got it to run and stay idle but when i drove up the street the the computer fell out of the bracket that holds it into place and ripped some wires in the process when that happened the car shut down so i think i need a new harness cause i tried puttin the wires back but the car would just crank and not start
