Quick question about the cluster
Saturday, August 14, 2010 9:26 PM
My air bag light has been on ever since I've owned the car. I've had it looked at and the air bags are fine, but the light is really annoying. How would I get rid of it?

Probably the module under the passenger seat.

I've had it checked out and no result..
What about putting a piece of electrical tape to cover that one symbol... Do I need to remove the needles and overlay to do it?

Who looked at it for you?
If that light is on it's not "fine" Just like when the check engine light is on.

Air bag codes are hard codes I believe you canīt erase them with any scan tool even with the expensive ones, the only way is to get the code and replace whatever is broken, I would bet it is the clockspring if so you will have to replace your module under the passenger seat ( the equivalent to the black box on planes) or send it to be wiped clean of codes.
