I just ordered this adapter that they offer
Here and the throttle body off of an Aurora. I have never actually seen this combination on a 3400 before. Its a considerable difference in TB sizes. Im excited to get it installed. You have to custom make a different throttle cable bracket which shouldn't be to hard. Its alot less expensive than going with a billet one.

i know the 3800 TB is bigger then a 3400 and guys are using the northstar TB and the aurora has a northstar so one would assume it will be a far bit bigger then what you got i want an LS1 TB

im running the same adapter. tho i had it from the begining so i cant compare its worked well. im using the aruora cable bracket and cable but i know most of the guys on 60degreev6 mod there stock ones. and the aurora has a short star its a v6 northstar. u may need to port the opening in ur 3400 uim to the same size as th tb im not to familiar with the 3400 uim.
notta a2.4 i have a ls1 tb pm me if intrested
8 psi with m62 and IAT under 100

come on guys. do the whole 3500 lol.
Go with the TCE throttle body they make them up to 68mm. Its a little bit overkill for a stock 3400 but port out the upper and lower intake they work awesome. They're actually in the process of making a 78mm I found out about a week ago cause they're about 500 feet from my shop. Probably be around a 300 dollar range.

Did you do just the 3500 UIM, or did you do the whole top end?
i find it amusing that SHOoff has nothing better to do but follow me around & be an unhelpful dick in even cross-forum. - Jon Mick
I had to do quite a bit of grinding to get the UIM to clear the FPR.
yea u can grinf the uim or get the new bracket from wot-tech to angle the fpr a little. altho that will cost about 30$ more than grinding lol.
I just did the intake swap and the 65mm TB swap too. I drove the car friday night and wow. It feels so much more torquey on in the lower RPMs. Sounds completely different too.

I've noticed that our minivan at work sounds a lil different than a 3400 (it's got a 3500 in it) as well. Got any videos of it by chance? That would be sweet.

I had to order a TB gasket so the TB is off of it right now, I will take a video as soon as its back together. Should be today hopefully.

the minivan mite have a 3400 with a 3500 type uim. they make one that looks like the 3500 but has the tb on top not on the side. pretty cool just really tall.
nate, if u splice in the connector a 3500 map will work the same as the 3400 if u wanted.
