first off i did use the search feature on here :-l

i have a 99 cav sedan with a CNG TANK ......i just wanted to know is it possible to take out the CNG tank i really want the trunk space i really dont do that much driving i just want the trunk space for school

ive heard u can take it out just by un bolting it and cappin the line idk

any thoughts would be nice

not much info is out there on CNG cavs, but if you take the full cng system out you should have just a regular 2200 cav. good luck

thanks imma try something cuz im doin mobile installion and fabrication and i wanna work on my own car but thet tank in way lol

as long as the tank is empty i do not see why there would be an issue, i do know there is a trick way to move your gas filler if you want to smooth the panels though.

ill take anything i can u know i just want it gone......i mean the car was only 500 when i bought it cant beat that and my 01 z24 got messed so i had to get what i can get feel me

i had to google that to find out what cng was lol, man that cool @!#$ keep it in there. i have never seen one!

Just take the tank out, then put a cap on the line in the trunk.

thats what everybody been telling me but i wasnt sure if it was safe of not but imma try it but i dont even know where to begin lol

what about the rest of the system, what makes this work? how does it interface with the engine and is there a special ecm for it?

I've been looking for the flip down filler panel for a.while now. Went to the dealer.and they had no info or part number for it. If you pull that part of the system off I'd be willing to take that panel off your hands...
