Light tint

I've seen some cars with tinted headlights and taillights. I know there's no problems with the taillights and front corner lights, but will tinting the headlights cause me to lose light? I was only thinking of fogging them lightly so they weren't perfectly clear but they are still clear, will this cause the lights to seem dimmer, due my lights aren't that bright to begin with.

Lets think about this one for a second. Your tinting the lens. Do you know what tint does? It blocked a percentage of light. So lets review will tint make you lose light output? YES

Ok, i'm not talking about that solid black tinting that you see on some vehicles with those lenses you can buy. I should have worded that better.
Will lightly tinting it, to give the headlight a smoked look(still see through them fine, just have them have a darkened tinge), make a drastic change on my lighting.

lol, yes even just a light smoked tint will reduce your light output.

Thank you, someone that doesn't just yell at my stupid question. I did a lot more research to see approximately how much it would reduce, a street bike forum was very helpful lol. But i think i'll go with painting the inside of the light for the headlight and tinting the corner.
