ive got a 2000 sunfire with a 2200 and just got my hands on a 2001 chevy lumina with a 3100 that i want to swap to the fire. just need to know how well the wiring from a 2000 malibu with a 3100 and computer will work in my sunfire or am i better of using the computer and wiring from the lumina. wanted to use the wiring from the malibu cause im looking for the 4t40e auto to run instead of the stock 3 speed. already got the upper mount made for the swap and workin on the stabilizer mount for the bottom.

read the sticky. a 2000+ 3100 is the same as a 3400.

ive read the sticky before i dicided to do this swap and i missed it. went back and found what i need thanks. second paragraph under wiring.
