If it runs it won't move too far....he welded the 2 axle halves together. That should last long enough to cause some major carnage! Not only do I doubt the welder penetrated deep enough to do anything structurally but the lack of balance will tear it apart.

I beleive that was just a mock up, he was having custom axles proffesionally made.

Reading is greater than me lol. I kinda hope he succeeds just despite the haters. But I will believe it when I see it.
I want the crappy interior, suspension, and part selection of a J-body but the reliability of a DSM.

I wouldn't say that DSM's are more reliable than a cavalier by any means. I can't even tell you how many people I know with DSM's that just sit around for years because they won't drive. Even the DSM community jokes around about how they spend more time pushing them around then driving them.
