I found rust on a car I just bought, it is on the floor pan just to the right of the brake pedal. It was covered by a floormat when I looked at it.. Do they make replacement front floor pans for our cars? Can I just clean it up and get another piece of metal welded in, or is it structural and stupid to fix?

if its surface and not rusted through sand blast it with a spot blaster and then rust coat it

It is rusted through, can't see the road, but it is definately through one layer of sheet metal.

I can only imagine what the rest of the car looks like.....
