will theengine harness from a 2.4 quad plug into the body harness from the 95 z24 2.3 quad engine I am doing a 2.4 swap into my 95 z because the engine recently blew and I need to know if the pcm and engine harness will connect to the body hareness in my z24 so i can keep all the dash and body module the same to but run the 2.4 ecm and engine harness, also what year transmissions can I get to bolt to the 2.4 or shoulld i stick with the izuzu tranny?
is it a manual or automatic
depends if its a 98 an older 2.4 and seeing as the 95 doesn't have a body modual your fine there

Okay... Dumb question I just asked.
Supposedly you can use your current wiring harness with the 2.4. A 1996-1999 would be your best candidate for a motor. Just make sure you change your get the 2.4 exhaust header as well. I heard your stock ecu will also run the 2.4... but just in case I would get a 1996 ecu. (1996 has same plug as the 1995) You just cant hook up the egr crap on the 2.4.

So is the plug to the pcm the same on the 99-02 model as the 96-98 pcm and what has to be done to aedapt the newer engine to the 2.3 harness)?
And what trans can I bolt to the 2.4 ? What year would you guys recsommend and should I stick with an Isuzu or get a getrag transmission?
2.3 and 2.4 trans will both bolt to each other it really depends on if you wanna do the extra work for a getrag if not then just use what you have

what pcm/ecm will switch right in, to connect to the 2.3 harness ? and I am gonna go with a getrag transmission, what needs to be done to hook the harness to that trans?
