Have a friend with a 95 Cavalier, 2.3 Liter I think, and the 5 speed. He needs the clutch replaced, I've done the one on my car (94 Z24 V6) once (engine out though) and my old car (90 2.2 Cav) 2wice, Am I looking at anything interesting here? Any tips on easiest way to do it? Hoping to get it done in about a Day.
Thanks

There's a spot on the subframe that can be trimmed to give more room to get the tranny in and out. Did that to mine and it helped, PJ had a thread on here about it but it's kinda obvious when you look under there. I made a stud by buying a long bolt with the same threads as the transmission to motor bolts and cut the head off so I could hang the tranny off it once I jacked it up high enough. Seemed to make the job easier. It can be done in a day though.
thanks. :-)
