so i have a 97 cavalier that i yanked the 2.2 motor out of (had a bad knock)
have replaced it with a 95 sunfire 2.2. (not finished yet so havent tried to start it)
the problem im running into is that the 95 block doesnt have a camshaft position sensor and the 97 does.
so could i just not use the camshaft position sensor with that pcm and still have it work
or should i swap out the 97 pcm to a 95 and part the the wire harnes to effectivly delete the cam pos sens
i would prefer to be able to just not use the cam sensor and not change anything but im afraid it would keep the engine from fireing correctly
any help would be appreciated
also looking for some go fast parts for the 2.2 also
anything would be good
