I was wondering if anyone knew how many 3rd gen Z24 convertible cavaliers were made with a 5 spd. I have been looking around and everyone I see is an auto. Is this a rare combo?
i see one show here n there but what i gather the 5spd vert is rare indeed. especially now since car hasnt been out for 12+ years. 3rd gens only around for 5-6yrs. so its even more rare when u factor wrecks, break downs being sent to yards etc many other reasons id say yes its a rare car these days,
Try finding a 2000 droptop 5sp! Or better yet a 95 quad4 5sp.
only about 36k 95-00 vert drop tops were made and most by far were autos. i have one of the 2.4l 5sp verts myself
Mines a 95 quad4 5 speed, but its a sunfire. Unicorn.
if the lady gives me any more lip hers is about to become a 5spd and ill drive it myself
i had a 2.4 5 spd vert but we sold it awhile back as it had a running issue and we didn't have the money to dump into it.
still wish we could have kept it... i had suspension and wheels to go on it at the time along with countless other parts from my sedan.

altho my vert VIN caught him , the exception to the norm.
I dun have access to the Compnine VIN decoder anymore.. and I ain't paying for it. At least, not yet.
I ran some numbers a while back, but I never did get the total numbers of auto vs. manual.
But in any case.. there is nothing "rare" about any J-body. There's just too many of them.
