hey guys I just relplaced the head on my 2001 cavalier to realize that after i was finished it was leaking coolant everywhere because the head the machine shop ordered for me was a 97' later.
2 questions
do they make a plug for the head so it wont leak coolant out of the hole for the intake manifold?
How difficult or possible is it to put the intake for a 97' later onto my 2001?
anything you guys have to say would be extremely helpful, i would really prefer not to take the head off and get a new one along with new gasket set and head bolts, as it will be an extra $150 and thats if I get this machine shop to pay for the right head.
get the right head. intake and exhaust port spacing is different, as well as coolant flow. you WILL have more issues down the road if you don't swap back to the proper head..
