This is my son's car and he tells me that it will engage only 1st and 4th gears and he believes it is the shift linkage?!?!!?? I am a complete numbnuts when it comes to cars so I'd either like it to go to a good home or maybe barter for some repair help. Please find car details below:

Thanks for replying......I'm in East Windsor, New Jersey (Central).

Unfortunately, I have no idea what is broken - his friend told him it must be the shift linkage since he can only get it into 1st and 4th. Not sure if they looked extensively for a cause.

Remove the center and u will see the 2 cables there thats where mine broke if those look good then look right on top of the tranny and see if those r connected
