Picked up a 2000 Sunfire.. The Drivers side headlamp was dim. So I swapped out another harness from another 2000 sunfire.
Now none of the dirvers side lights work. BUT the four ways will flash.
GRRRRR!
This is what I have tried so far.
Checked for continuiety in the front harness. All GOOD
Checked for power from the C100 Plug from the car and there seems to be power.
Changed out the relay DRL
Any thoughts??

LOL i just solved this issue on my 2000 cavalier....
check the fuse panel for the "LTHDL" fuse. it is more than likely blown, thats what mine was.
I choose the technology built for land speed records... not the technology built to save on emissions and gas mileage.
Thanks I will try that today. I will post back if it does or does not work and what else I try.

That did not help. The front harness is good. I checked every wire for continuety. I swapped out the fuse for the LTHDL. Swapped out a relay at the DRL. Everything is good to the C100 Plug under the hood. The problem is from the C100 Plug back to the BCM/DRL.
Has anyone had to change a BCM? If someone has did you have to have anything else done after the swap?
This problem is annoying.

I had the same problem a long time ago.Im going off my memory but i think it was a diode or something in the harness. Its in a little plastic box and its taped to the harness inside the wire loom.I forget the exact location but i got to it from under the hood. Its either near the 2 relays on the pass side or in the middle of the harness.Just pull the loom off and you should see it.hope this helps.

is the ground on the harness under the battery tray connected?
FU Tuning
you have to cut split apart all the front lights harness sheathing coverings
and repair replace factory crappy splices
they are corroded and wires break
brown and blue wires ones
youll see exactly what mean once you yank the head light assemblies off the car and open up the harnesses
its a super common issue problem from factory on these cars i had to do this all on the 96 not too long ago
now all front lights work great
