K while back someone told me if u have a j-body vehicle always plan to work on it wether it be for fun or performance purposes. ha. u were so right its not even funny. now on to real talk. ive been all over site did.research and all. so i wanna take a 95 2.2 and stick it in my 01. Im doing the sunfire front end swap with it. Will engine work. only diffrence is the egr correct? my plan is to drop the engine frame all in one and sit mine over it. possible? Could someone let me know if it wont work please.

Wrong the 2.2 differs from 94-97 block is the only thing the same as far as i know and 98-02.... they are not interchangeable as far as i know without a complete harnass swap.... an Eco Swap would be your best bet as a swap for your 01..... also for info on this if you look at the s10 forums for the 2.2 growing pains
