Hi guys, I have a clunking at the right rear corner of my 2000 Z. Shock is ok so I have been told but the noise remains. Driving me crazy as I have tried and tried to find it but to no avail. It makes the noise when going over bumps and not on even roads. It also seems to be worse in cold weather. Any ideas????
Thanks gang.
P.S.
I pulled the trunk liner back to see as much of the shock mount as I could and noticed a rubber hose running from the underside of the rear window down to the signal light area, what the heck is that for?
It could be just the upper shock mount, or it could be the shock and the mount. Personally, I'd probably just replace both on both sides if I were you, as I like to replace most wear items in pairs, but it's up to you.
