I'm trying to remove the crank senor but doing so the inner part of the sensor has pulled out leaving the outer brass still in the block.

I have tried using WD-40 and heating the brass up, but the brass is starting to fall apart from all the pounding on it.

Don't know if the new sensor can come apart and go in place of the old one that came out, or do I need to keep going and use an easy out?

Anyone else have this problem?
