So basically what im wondering is what will a 97 2.2l fit in ?
Have a 97 sunfirewith 94k on it. Drive side axle shaft exploded on me and i came to find that the engine cradle rotted. I feel like its not worth saving because its rusty. Like, real rusty in the back half.
So, the motor i have that runs like an absolute top and the tranny thats almost brand new still are both going to waste. What can i put these in ? What other mode years will my setup fit in ?

Why not get another cradle? Anything from 96-01 will be a direct swap. You can make a 02-05 fit, but it will require a little fitting with the exhaust manifold.
