Hi all, I'm wondering about changing the windshield in my 2005 Sun fire. The question I have is about the thick rubber molding that goes around the outside of the windshield between the windshield and the body. It appears that one has to use it again, so how do you get it out in usable condition when cutting out the old windshield? I understand that the urethane seal has to be cut and replaced. Thanks in advance.
When i had my cav windshield done they just cut the old one out and put the new one in using urethane to seal.

Yeah, it will be replaced with new when the windshield is replaced. If you are going to change it yourself, you can buy new trim where you get the windshield, if it isn't already included.
