couple of options...

#1 download the 30 day trial from adobe.com
#2 get paint shop pro instead. only like $90 brand new and can do almost if not everything that photoshop can though it'll take a few extra steps
#3 search online for "The Gimp" or "Paint.Net" and download one of those. (only if you're doing something basic)
#4 Pirate Photoshop (not recommending it)

The Gimp is free and will do about anything photoshop will do. It has many more features than paint shop pro.

name features that gimp has that psp 9 does not

psp9 is chock full of basically all photoshop tools PLUS jasc paint shop pro can use ANY photoshop brush/plugin/fill/texture etc...




and u can also get a trial of jasc psp from their site as well

I use psp and ps for everything


ive never really tried much with gimp...

best thing i could suggest is to look at photoshop tutorials, and try to acomdate that to gimp. im sure all the tools and things are about the same name and function about the same.

What you oughta do is just mess around with the tools and stuff until you understand what everything can be used for. Just about every chop I've done has just been me messing with the tools.
