Anybody know how (or have a program) that will convert icons from 24bit True Color icons to 32bit or just about anything other than True Color without losing quality?

I have a LOT of icons I need to use in some software, but since they are True Color, it crashes the program when it tries to load (thanks Microsoft).

Thats one, they are all true color like that. I'd like to preserve as much of the quality as possible, so going to a higher resolution/color depth is probably preferred.
