Ok, so I am working on my very first toon and when I use the pen tool to outline the car I get black "fills" all around making it impossible to see the rest of the outline. Anyone have any suggestions?
sounds like you have shape layers instead of paths clicked.
with the pen tool selected, on the top toolbar under where it says Image, make sure its the middle box (paths) selected and not the first (shape layers).
