yea, the tutorial at the photoshop Bible for cartooning is not very detailed, that's why i made one.
thanks for pointing him in the right direction Splash
Yeah, thanks DjTeddy, im working on my car right now going by yours. Having trouble on the light glare lines tho.
yea, sometime i might hafta make a new tut, that one is quite old and isnt the best way to toon, but it does the job.
gota kinda build your own technique as you folow tutorials.
Okay, now I'm having trouble with the headlights, since I have stock headlights and not compeltely clear lenses, this is difficult. And also the reflections on the windshield, do you just wing it here and do whatever looks good?

pretty much, like in this toon i did the main outline of the interior and a couple other lines for highlighting
Here I added more detail.
and on other very quick toons ive simply just made the windows black with reflections of the sky in them.
It all depends what you feel like doing, the more detail the better.
(sorry for the big pictures)
and as for your headlights just add what you can see. unless you feel like looking at another clear headlight and add it to yours.
Anyone know a tutorial on cartooning that shows how to do big wheels and slant them in?
I got further using the tutorial i posted then teddys.
Once i used teddys and click to use the pen tool it will not allow me to use the bruch settings.
you have to click the Brush first then set the size, and then after you use the pen tool and right click and hit the Add Stroke or whatever is i cant remember, you pick the Brush again when it gives you the option and it uses the size set with the brush
