ok, my nx nitrous solenoid stuck shut on me a while back........i want to put my kit back on soon...would the purge solenoid flow enough to be used as a regular nitrous solenoid, i know its rated at a 30 second interval just like a normal nitrous noid so i don't see a problem except for the flow rate, i ran a 75 shot before, can the purge noid handle a 75 shot or will I need to drop to a 50, or am i smoking too much crack?

seriously, i dont think a purge solenoid will handle the pressure. i'd think it would burn up. my purge solenoid looks puny compared to the main n2o solenoid... im not 100% sure, but personally i wouldnt gamble with it.

ok, well i figured id ask before blowing up solenoids...i just figured that my purge solenoid is roughly the same size as my friends venom solenoid so mabey it would work........oh well

Nope, Purge solenoids are only ment to be open for no more then ten seconds at a time and even then only once a run. you could damage that solenoid if you use it as a replacement, (at least it stuck shut and not open lol)
yeah i guess i was fortunate that it did stick shut and not open. damn i wish i had a hundred bucks laying around for a new solenoid.
