Not to thread jack or anything. I got mine off ebay and im just wondering how long it generally takes for the bottle to warm up once you put the heater on? I know temp outside and how full the bottle is has to do with it a lot im just wondering roughly. ANyone with one let me know....

should only take a minute, two at most. mine gets hot real quick. but the best way to tell when its heated to the fullest is get a bottle pressure gauge. 900 - 1000 psi = fully heated bottle, if the bottle isnt down to the fumes

Strongly agree.... Comes with a nice pressure (and accurate) pressure switch.
Get a bottle blanket and purge kit from them while your at it.
My ZEX one supposedly has an auto shut off when it reaches a certain temperature. Is this fairly standard/reliable for most bottle heaters?

BTW does anyone have the gauge from dynotune.org? I was just on there they have one for $25 or something like that. Reason i ask is i bought a ZEX one and it's so cheaply made. It leaked from the second i put it on so i took it off. Lemme know guys!

The best ones are the ones that shut off according to bottle pressure, for example my NX heater shuts off automatically at 1300 psi
yeah i got the gauge but what they dont tell you is that you have to pay another 16 bucks plus 4.95 shipping to get the fitting for the gauge to actually go onto the bottle and then it will only go onto the bottle one way so you have to mount the bottle accordingly for you to see the gauge inside the car. unless you can see it from behind with the trunk open while racing.

Do you have to run that into a elecontric gauge then so it knows?

No the NX heater used a transducer to detect pressure in the bottle. Once it sees 1050 it shuts the heater off. The minute pressure drops below that, it turns back on. That's why its automatic.
I thought ZEX heaters were automatic as well, just set to stop at 900psi and they aren't adjustable.
Dynotune's I believe isn't adjustable either.
Archeat bottle heaters are affordable and adjustable

Dynotune's bottle warmer is pressure adjustable and holds bottle pressure within 50 psi.
