How hard is it to install the dis-2. I have no idea.
It shouldn't be too hard for you if you can install a headunit on your own and use a volt meter ot install a nitrous kit. It took me all of 1-1/2 hours tops including eating lunch lol. but i got my box used and it worked great for about 2-3 weeks and it @!#$ it self so i took the box out and hope to get another soon.
Don't foreget that the ln2 needs the coil interface adaptors and once you wire those up you connet the plug to the msd box and and make up batery connections your good to go. when you get the interface adaports just follow the diagram that is included ot go to MSD's web page and look up the instructions on a pdf file.
Good luck

Yah, easy as long as you got everything you need. Read the FAQ, it's on the first page. A search might also help.

Get the programmable DIS-2. It is so much easier to tune and has more options than the regular DIS-2.
275hp & 306tq - 1999 2.2 ohv
13.2 @ 108 mph
-1996 2.4 liter + Turbo + Built motor + Torco + More boost = Lots o' Power
-2000 Mustang GT + 2004 Cobra motor, Whipple 2.3 supercharger,
built rear-end,Dodge Viper spec T56 6 speed, bolt-ons = wheelies at the track!!!!!
Are you sure you use the DIS-2 because the 2.2 OHV does have a distributor?

The 2.2 ohv uses coilpacks, not distributors. By the way, Adler is selling his programmable MSD DIS-2 with the MSD coil interface modules.
If it's not fast, juice it!!!

Ok thank you for clearing that up...I'm not too "keen" on the 2.2 OHVs but I'm still learning...
