a friend of mine has a 2004 sunfire and he is runnin a 75 shot of N.O.S and keeps melting the plugs. i am thinking he isnt gettin enough fuel in the combustion chamber and its leaning out. what do you guys think?
It aint no cavy
actually its a NX kit sorry
It aint no cavy
holy shat lol
yeah, i would have to agree on the leaning out part
what kind of plugs is he using?
the last one he just melted was autolite 103's
It aint no cavy
he's leaning out. autolite 103s are the correct heat range. ngk tr6 might be a slightly better plug but still the same heat range.
what octane fuel is he using? he should be using 93 or higher.
does he have the correct jets installed?
what fuel pressure is he running at? stock eco fuel pressure is 52psi base, 60psi static. tell him to get a gauge, use the schrader port on the fuel line, and test it with and w/o the vac line connected to the FPR. if the pressure is low, the fpr may be faulty, the fuel filter may be dirty, or the in-tank pump may be failing.
i have no clue what octane he was running.
yea he has the right jets in it
aight thanx ill tell him 2 check the all that
It aint no cavy
