Basically what the topic says,
I know it's not a Nitrous topic, but figured this would be the best place to ask..
I'm wanting to change up my air ride set up, and use 2x 10lbs NOS tanks as my reservior.... I did some research and found the tanks can handle roughly 900-950psi, where the check valve on my compressors can only handle 250psi and I have a pressure switch of 200psi so i'm safe there.
I plan to run steel braided lines from the compressor to a T fitting at the tank, then branch another steel braided line to a hidden manifold to mount the solenoids.
Any objections from the NOS gods?? Thought I would ask before spend'n the mullah!
Thanks in advance,
I see no reason why it wouldnt work....just have to weld for the air line to come out.. and for the pressure switch if you decided to keep that....not too much work for a bad ass setup IMO
Like the idea!

You will have to drain it for water every now and again. Otherwise should be fine.
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
The condensation seems like the only problem. Maybe you can add a drain to the bottles?

I would just take the bottle out about once a week and drain it. Not sure i'd want to drill into a bottle.

I think the burst pressure of the tanks are closer to around 1500 psi
cool thanks guys...
Draining won't be a problem, I'll accomidate for that.
And if the burst pressure is 1500psi, then I have a nice 1300psi + tolerance that I will never hit. lol
photo's and media come spring time.... you shall see! :-o
yeah ull be fine i got one bottle setup as my air tank

Just install a purge fitting that you can find on the tractor trailer trucks. They work great and only need a slight pull of a finger to vent.

We did this on a Civic a few years ago....
