A few questions

Ok, here's the deal. I bought the Omnifi DMP1 (the hard drive thing that some poster was talking about getting a few days ago) It's basically a cross between an mp3 player and a CD changer. It mounts in the car like a CD changer, and has a wireless uplink, so I can load songs onto the 20GB hard drive from inside my house. It's also got a faceplate, that is the same dimensions as a DIN style one, but it's only a total of less than an inch thick (removable faceplate and mounting plate, no head unit). Anyways, here are my questions:

1) Is it possible to wire this into the aux inputs of my car's radio? It's the stock deck, and I'm not sure if it even has them or not. It's the standard deck (AM/FM/CD, not the AM/FM/mp3 CD one)

2) I think I heard something about needing a special adapter, if my car even has the aux inputs in the first place. From what I can see, they only come for the cars that are XM/CD changer ready. Is that what I have?

3) If none of the above, then I think I'll need an FM modulator. What would be the best one I could get? The Omnifi stuff is under the parent company of Rockford Fosgate, if that helps.

4) I'm trying to find a good place to mount the faceplate. Like I said, it is the same size as a DIN style one, but is only a little over 1/2 an inch thick. It has two brackets that you are supposed to either screw into a DIN style opening, or mount whereever else you choose. Some of the obvious choices are to put it into the glovebox (but that would be hard to reach to change songs while driving), under dash area (probably about halfway between the button for the trunk release and the steering column. This would probably be my best choice, but I don't know about screwing into my nice dash to mount this thing), under the radio (left unmounted, sitting on the little open area below the radio. I would be able to see it, pick it up to adjust it, and put it back. But then it'll be loose, and have extra wires going around. That might end up being a hassle). Any other suggestions? I want this to look clean, and be able to be reached and messed with easily.

Thanks for the help.

your stereo most likely doesnt have aux. inputs. heck most aftermarket units dont have an aux input unless you start spending the big bucks.
