I just found out my car comes factory with keyless entry, and i also a remote from my local dealer like $100..... (98.00)
is that about right?

Ebay man... just look up the pn and FCC id and search away. I see you have an 02, the dealer has to program it though.

When I bought my 01Z the previous owners lost both remotes. I just went to ebay and got 2 for like 15 bucks. Then I went to my local chevy dealer and they programmed them for 25 bucks.
actually after this, i went to ebay, found one for $10, and shiping for 5, the kewl part was that the seller posted the P/N #, so i called back, told them that my buddy has one, and wanted to see if it was gonna work, so after giving him the #, he said, yes....
i just gotta receiev the remote now and get it programed for 20......
better that paying $120 total.....

I was looking for replacement keyless entry remotes not too long ago and I found a site that had them for $29.99 for my Cavalier.
I had them delivered in less than a week and the programming instructions only took maybe 10 seconds?

OK, obviosly, there is no need for a plug in, and i guees you can program the keyles, w/o a problem....
so can anyone post the instructions, on how to program it ? i know someone has got to know !
How difficult could they be.... or are they so secret, that noone wants to give them up?

i believe it would help the comunity save money each time they buy a keyless remote, or have one that they need programed from the dealer....
