Hi Everyone. I have a couple questions for you. One does anyone know the part number for the factory cd player/mp3 capable players in that came in the 04 cavs (I think) or the cobalts. And if so will one of these work in my 2000 cavalier if I have the radio reflashed? Thanks for the help!

I only have the numbers for the Sunfire decks... but they're about $600 new from GM.. so the part numbers, trust me.. you don't want them.

Go to Ebay. Buy one cheaper.

Then yes, go to GM and get it reflashed... and you'll be set. Just get the RPO code for the radio from the seller... (it's on the spare tire cover!) and take that to GM, it speeds up the reflash process if they don't have to try and figure out the RPO code.

Cool thanks Lenko. Is it the Sunfire/Cavaliers that have the decks or do the cobalts have the decks that are interchangeable as well?

I don't know. I haven't seen a Cobalt deck out of the dash to compare.

Maybe someone else knows tho.
