how do you get the horn to chirp when you press the LOCK button twice on a 99 cavalier Z24? Or do you have to do it during programming? Please write back and let me know

As far as I know that's a 2k+ thing, though I may be wrong.

If it locks your car, it should chirp the horn.

thier is a black wire in the ignition harness coming down from the stering colum. Wire that to the blue lock wire in the kickpanel. The horn will honk everytime you lock your car .. lol.. or if you do it wrong, the doors will lock everytime you honk the horn. Use a relay to do this. And if you get feedback from the lock wire. Use a diode.

scotts right in what he said although the diode is real easy a relay would give you better isolation between the two.. you would want them isolated cause horn goes off when airbag is deployed, thus locking the doors, that would be kinda bad in an accident..

85 will be your trigger wire, so blue lock wire in kick panel (+)
86 will be opposite of 85 so a (-) ground
87 will feed your output so it needs (-) ground to trigger horn
30 will be the horn wire, so black horn wire at column (-)
87A will do nothing while at rest
