so i hooked all my new stereo up, but when i was putting the remote turn on in the wiper fuse i was wondering what prong to put it into!? help plz
Which ever side has power. grab a multimeter.
Either side "will" work but there is a correct way to do it.
I dont have my GF's Cavi here to find out which side, but pull the fuse, turn the key ON, play music, and insert the wire into one hole, if the amp powers, put it in the OPPISITE side, that will be protected by the fuse then.
If your amp doesnt come on on the side with the fuse out, put it in there, and insert the fuse, the amp should come on. You can also use a volt meter, but you dont really need one.
the proper way to do it, is to attach it on the battery side of the fuse. then fuse your new wire seperatly
If you use one of those add-a-fuse deals from the auto parts store, it makes it very simple.

there great i used one on my deck install and one for something else.
Just used one on my buddies Maxima. That fixed alot of problems.
I used the add-a-fuse thigns for my neons and my tach. Work great but can only handle up to 10 amps. I couldnt find any fuse taps that fit our cars at Murrays, where did everyone get them?

cd players don't need a bigger fuse then that...if you need bigger, just use a bigger fuse and a bigger wire.
