What may be the problem if the subs pop when switching tracks on a CD or stations on the radio?
mine do that too, I'd think it's normal. Mind you I got a really cheap deck so it might be surging mine
Well, if you went the cheap way and tapped your amp inputs off of your speakers then that might cause it. Of course the simple usage of RCA connectors from your cd player to your amp would fix this. =)
^^^^ what he said..... this shouldn't happend if you take the time to remove the dash and connect a pair of RCA cables from the amp to the headunit

There are RCA's from a middle class panasonic deck to the sub amp.
Try grounding your head unit elsewhere. Instead of using the factory ground, take it to bare metal.
