well i'm looking for a couple of dvc subs and mono amp
-my friends tell me to get the boss 3000w mono amp, says it's a great amp (personal experience) but, i don't like buying "off-brands" would rather buy quality rather than end of paying for it later.
-was thinking about buying a lanzar vibe mono amp was looking at several series
good amp/company to go with?
last question, planning on buying 2 infinity kappa perfect's (dvc) good decision or no?
($269 w/sh for 2) would you suggest another good 12" dvc sub

Thanks for not replying on how whip@$$ Boss is. It is junk no matter how much "personal experience" hypes it up.
In the past, I have cut corners on quality, only to regret it later. Trying to sell used car audio usually lead me to a 50% or more loss from the original price.
For new stuff, I usually run across a good deal on good equipment or hunt forever online for a good price. EBay was my last source for a used mint AudioCONTROL THREE.1 for around $110, and a new Kicker DX350 from an authorized Kicker dealer for around $190.
I'm not familiar with Boss gear, but the SQ potential of those infinity perfect subwoofers is incredible. I would rank them right up there with JL 12W6s (which I have personally owned, completed and won with).
For SQ, you would have to step up in price ALOT to get equal or better performance. If SQ is your goal, you will not find better for that price.
The 50-50-90 rule: Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.
If you go with a lanzar amp, go with the optidrive series.

-prolly look into the Lanzar Optidrive though, was looking at ikesound and found a Hifonics amp that looked good
