I have a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and I want to be able to install a remote starter but
I think that I can't because is how I start my car. I have a plastic card that I have
to touch the bottom of the steering collum before I start my car
It's kinda of a security option that came with the car
Can I still install a remote car starter?
Plastic card? What are you talkin about? I never heard of such a thing...Or did you get caught for drunk and driving and have to blow in it before it starts?!

unless you disable the card reader thing i doubt remote start will work
Depends. If the card reader is connected to a kill switch on one of the power wires, which is most likely is, just hook the remote start in on the engine side of the ignition harness.
