Infinity 6.5in. in the doors?

I know that in our doors we have stock 4x6's. I have a pair of infinity reference speakers in my back deck, and i wanted the same in my doors. on crutchfields site, it says that these infinity reference shallow mount 6.5 in will fit, anyone have these and know for sure before i get them? thanks for the help.

yes they will fit with the MDF adaptors.

mine weren't shallow mount and the fit fine

Same for me, I have 6010cs in there and they fit just fine.

and your guy's speakers are the 6.5 in ones? and you didn't need any adapters?

They are 6.5's, yes. I got an adapter off Ebay because I'm lazy and don't have tools to make my own, and it worked fine.

I had no problem getting my door panels back on. Well... not any more so than those sons-of-b!tiches are to put back on anyway at least.
