Hey I've got question for anyone familiar with Alpine products. Right now i've got an Alpine CVA 1004 multimedia center as its called. Now its a standalone monitor/radio receiver with the ability to control a cd or dvd changer via the Ai-net controller as i think its called.

Now when i bought it the offered to sell me the cd/dvd changer but i cheaped out (my mistake) and decided to run my old headunit as the cd player/radio instead. So i just ran the power and grounds for the CVA and hooked up the video signal to my playstation 2 and ran the ps2 audio inputs to the aux inputs on my deck.

Now i've become tired of this setup and want to upgrade. I'm looking for an Alpine DVD/CD changer thats compatible with the CVA, prefferable one thats a 1-din unit like this DVD/MP3 but Alpine Ai-net compatible so i can control it all from the CVA. So far my search as come up empty so i turn to the JBO to help. Anyone know of anything like what i am describing please help. sorry fpr the long post.

But hears the bad news ...

Alpine No longer makes a DVD changer.. -- But you can do the DVA5210 single play DVD - its a single DIN size ... Will work with your CVA1004 -

Or -- sell off your 1004 -


Get the IVA D310 -- does it all ...

Thanks for the quick replies guys, sounds like that DVA5210 is my best bet, now i just gotta find one for sale. And i would see the cva if i though it would sell but i doubt i could unload it.

Well I looked around today, no one carries those models anymore and i can't seem to find them online. so right now i'm considering this Farenheit DVD36 Car DVD MP3 any inputs?

its a dvd player.... lol not much more that i know about it
