to the Faq!

Ok i ve got everything im good to go...rolled back the carpet its unplugged...

but what is #3? ( the piece that plugs into #4) just a black clip maybe? the pictures has no wires connected to it?

It looks like just a plastic clip but where do i get this from?

or is there a specail trick to use something else...sorry my search couldnt find the answer...

It looks like its just a clip so that the 2 wires of #4 are connected.
You should be able to just put a piece of wire between the 2 wires inside the clip (#4) and it'll work the same as using a clip.
If that doesn't make sense just ask.

It looks like you might be able to use a jumper from a PC motherboard or cd-dvd drive.

You can use anything, a lot of people just use a paper clip. All you need to do is short those two pins together so the module goes into programming mode.

ok still a little confused i should hold the paper clip there until

The door locks lock.

- The door locks unlock.

- Then rear compartment lid release will cycle.

- The horn chirp will sound.

The above conditions should occur within 2 seconds.


or do i just tap it real quick whcih "sends" it into this "mode:

leave it attached until its programmed, then remove the jumper wire
