THIS IS NOT A SALE POST! (sorry had to get that out of the way....) anyway, ok guys so I work as an account manager at a major electronics distributor. I work with companies like Best Buy, Comp USA etc...basically, they buy all their stuff from me.
Anyway, one of the Manufacturers I represent is a company called H&B. H&B is primarily known for their big screen LCD's and Plasma TV's, however they've just released a new line that I think you guys might like.
They are working on a car audio line, which so far includes 2 head units and a bluetooth cellphone accessory. Here are some details on the 3 new products. I won't get too into specs and bore you, but these units are in a league of their own. They are one of two manufacturers making units that directly incorporate iPod into them (no more iTrip, basically) They also incorporate SD cards (take the card our of your MP3 player, phone whatever and put it right into the actual headunit) as well as cellular phone Blutooth integration. See below for exact specs.

H&B CA-5555i Headunit

H&B Bluetooth Handsfree Unit

Ok, so here's what I'm looking for. I'd like to get some input as to what you guys think about these units. As I said, no one except maybe one other manufacturer is doing iPod and SD card integration, these things are in a league of their own. If the interest is there, I would like to work with someone who owns a business (ie Karo at CarCustoms? Or anyone else with a valid resale certificate?) Basically, I can't sell to an end user, but I can work with someone who has a company to pass some nice saving on to all you guys.
If there is interest, I will work with whoever the interested company is in setting up a group purchase. Your prices on these units will be insanely low, like really really low haha.
So lets here what everyone thinks! If you'd like to see what else my company carries, you can visit

do those bluetooth things play the voice over my car stereo? or just mute the radio?
I'd give one a try depending how "low" the price really is. Are these almost the same as the ones on e-bay. They kinda look similar.
This would actually be a good way to get the name out there. Similare to RE Audio's group buy thats was available to everybody.
RE Audio
maybe the second one....depending on price but i doubt it'd be in range
i wouldn't be interested...i don't get into all that auxilary hookup and media card mumbo jumbo.

Possibly how much are we talking at? Anyone looking into this?
CA-5555i is pretty slick, I like it.
I would definitly enjoy that ipod usb hookup with the CA-5555i Headunit, it also looks sick! Let me know on prices in CAD.. and maybe i will be interested if the price is relatively low, tho im not expecting much from a new tech like this.
And now that i look at it, possibly the bluetooth as well. Though i will need to hear some more about that.
if the bluetooth will hook up to my existing radio (im not too sure what an ISO connector is) then hellz yes i want that. i want something that works through my car stereo very badly. ive got an 03 model year kenwood kdc-mpv6022.

this useless post brought to you by the alcoholic known as LUNDiS
There not completely in a league of their own...pioneer already has most of there headunits & indash TV's are ipod comatible you just gatta buy the adaptor from apple same with the bluetooth... and most of the new alpines this year also carry the ipod adaptor ...
does the bluetooth play the voice from my phone calls over my damn speakers... thats all i want to know lol
to be blunt the first one looks UGLY, and very user unfriendly.
The blue tooth kit looks cool. How would those of use with aftermarket amps go about using it tho?

im interested in the 2nd one...i need a price tho.
I agree with tony gonzales. A lot of the new decks are coming out with built in Ipod integration. I work at automotive innovations in Davenport Iowa. It is nothing to hook an Ipod od to a cd player. As a matter of fact, peripheral makes a unit to hook your Ipod up to your stock radio. And the SD card thing. I just saw a deck at walmart(lol) that not only plays music from the sd but has a 1.5 inch LCD screen that plays pics and vids off of the sd card. So the prices better be Really low on these things.
Um no ugly and why do i need bluetooth when I have the headset. Frankly I would stick with a brand name deck. Not some start up.
