2-way or 3-way

I need some opinions. What would be better to have in the rear deck 2way speakers or three way speakers?

2 Ways. Anything above that is a waste of money.

Bill, 3-way or more is better for sound reproduction. I have Pioneer 6X9 4-ways in mine and the sound is great.

2 ways if you have subs. 3 ways if you dont.

I think I'm gonna go with the 2-ways. I will have 2 10" subs in the trunk when this is all said and done. The components up front plus the door speakers should help with anything that I miss with the 2-ways.

Thanks for all the input.

Go with the 2 ways and here is why...
Ideally all sound should come from 1 speaker for each stereo channel for best sound reproductions and proper time alignment. Unfortunately we dont have 1 single speaker that can produce 20hz-20khz effeciently on it's own so we have to split the task up into multiple different sized speakers to get the job done even though that isn't the ideal situation.

It depends on how good your ears are as to weather you will be able to tell a difference or not. If you buy good quality speakers then you shouldn't have a problem either way, but the 2-ways should sound better.

I'd say if your gonna get 2-ways, just get a component set. if you dont want to bother with a component set, just get 3-ways or 4-ways
